The Youth Team Honor Division of Atletico de Madrid receives InterSoccer in its Sports City for a friendly match

Last March 6, included on the technification program panned by InterSoccer Madridi Academy, we had the honor of being received at the Sports City “Cerro del Espino”, in Majadahonda, by the prestigious professional football club Atletico de Madrid.

We went to face their youth team Honor Division, currently champion of the category and ranked second in the league competition, behind Real Madrid. Team which has several Spanish Under-18 International players (Milla, Chele, Borja, Oliver, Saul …) along with other international countries (Keita, from Guinea-Conakry and former player of InterSoccer Madrid; So, from China). Many of them, also frequently train with the first team of the Athletic Club, under the command of “Cholo” Simeone. Some of them debuting with the first team.

The team selected from the guys at the InterSoccer Residence: Dar Korolev (Russia); Raouf (Algeria), Pierre (Cameroon), Facu Capdevielle (Uruguay), Juan Roa (Canada), Junior (Spain/Cameroon), Barry (Guinea Conakry), Otia (Cameroon), Nikita (Russia); Musah (Ghana) and Henri (Spain). Afterwards also played Samuel (Venezuela/Spain), Sory Kaba (Guinea Conakry), Gabri (Spain), Shukhrak (Uzbekistan), Diego Garcia Mendoza (Mexico), Bob (Thailand) and Iskandar (Uzbekistan). It was truly amazing to see how the Intersoccer boys faced and disputed one on one a match to a team like Atletico de Madrid, studded with real football talents. Such was the good work of the black-greens until the 82nd minute of the match the score remained unchanged, 0-0, with some goal chances for both teams. Only a penalty in that minute tipped the scale for Atletico de Madrid.

Although all InterSoccer Madrid players glittered on the field, above all the two best players in the game were Dar Korolev, goalkeeper, and the “all-road” Pierre.

It was a fantastic experience in a rainy morning at the Sports City “Cerro del Espino”, a true sacred temple of football world elite training, our Academy left the marks of a quality seal and its high level of technical soccer training. The continued and hard work of our technicians David Hernandez, Kiko Sánchez (both directed the team), Dani Fernandez, Jesus Lucas, Daniele Paccagnan… begins to show results at the InterSoccer Madrid Academy. Congratulations guys! And thanks to Club Atlético de Madrid for opening its privileged door!
