The City of Alcobendas where Mario Suarez, professional player of Club Atlético de Madrid and internationally with the “Spanish Red”, was born celebrated a few days ago a party in his honor which his name was given to a football city. Remember that Mario, before reaching the age of 16 at the Atlético de Madrid integrated the Alcobendas Levitt CF squad; of which InterSoccer Academy is a subsidiary.
For the celebration, and with the honor kick off of Mario Suarez, a match was played between a youth team from Alcobendas City and First Team Youth Honor Division Atletico Madrid. Well, this game was played by ¡four students from InterSoccer Academy players! Two of them on the Atlético -Pierre and Otia- and two on Alcobendas -Dar Korolev and Sory Kaba… that was author of a huge goal.
The event constituted a true sports festival for the city. More than 600 people -old, young and children- surrounded at all times to the local idol Mario Suárez. The event was attended by the president of Club Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, the Mayor of Alcobendas and many other personalities of the first political and sporting level; who made many gifts to the honoree. Also Alcobendas Levitt CG and InterSoccer gave Mario Suarez a green shirt and a remembering plaque.
Hopefully other kids from InterSoccer soon will follow in the footsteps of Mario!
