New victory that tastes even better after yesterday’s category leader loss. The Club InterSoccer won a hard-fought victory over an opponent who showed claw at all times and did not give up.
The game started with local domain, but Belvis created danger on the counterattack causing much defense work and lots of Ivan’s actions. In the dead ball situation was where the danger keep coming to the black-green’s goal, but it were the locals, in one of these times, who opened the scoring with a shot from Otia at the far post. The “students” were relaxed and in a dead ball situation received a tying goal at halftime edge. Sory Kaba had several chances to put the InterSoccer ahead but the goalkeeper and bad luck prevented the goal of the Guinean player.
The second half started with a more vertical attack but the visitors weren’t able to know where the chances came. Manu had control of the game from midfield and Otia played giving passes on Sory, Cata and Junior -the three men above-. After a Sory’s great personal play the ball arrived at the feet of Cata that didn’t missed it and putted his team ahead. With the result of 2 – 1, the InterSoccer Academy began to grief and Ivan and the bar avoided the tie. In the last minutes was Sory who finally managed to score, getting the third goal on the scoreboard and the heart in its place on black-greens bench.
With this victory, the InterSoccer remains the only unbeaten team in the category. With a game left keeps a three points gap behind second-placed and four behind the first.
