After a great season wearing the InterSoccer Academy Club’s black-green jersey in regional category, Otia was called during the first days of May to enter the Atletico de Madrid U17 Team to prepare its participation in the “little” soccer world championship celebrated last May.
Surprising everyone, the young Cameroonian, won not only the right of participating in this prestigious event, but also being in the starting lineup for the three crucial matches of the championship. His great performance against Corinthiams made possible Atletico to pass for semifinals and his second goal against Real Madrid confirmed the presence of Atletico de Madrid, for second consecutive year, in the final losing by the minimum against the great players of River Plate, at the closing match. Otia left his mark of quality strength and commitment.
