On Tuesday 10 February we received the visit of two professional players who marked an era in football world playing for Atletico Madrid.
Luiz Pereira, Brazilian, who changed the global concept in the gameplay of defenses and still linked to Club Atlético de Madrid, where he is chairman of the Second Division B team which, remember, plays our student Pierre Malong. Accompanied by Adelardo Rodriguez, historic Atletico de Madrid captain and still holding the record as the player with most number of games defending the red-white shirt. Adelardo, in his 17 years of service, gained many titles, including the most important in Atletico’s history: the Intercontinental Cup. He is currently the president of Fundación Atlético de Madrid.
The two -along with some other friends- carefully followed the modernization session, under Mass Valenziano orders with the help of José Segovia and then talked about their experiences, work and commitment we must develop to become professional footballers.
That was a wonderful experience thanks to such personalities from the international soccer world!
