Billy called up to play for the U16 Irish National Team

A few weeks past William Billy Griffin of Intersoccer Madrid Academy/ Alcobendas Levitt CF was called up to play for the U16 Irish National Team.

Some days after he set off for Ireland. Upon his arrival Billy knew that this was not an easy task but he had to make the most of it. First port of call was the FAI (Federation Association of Ireland) building with papers to complete, he was now exited and ready for what was going to come. The sports complex and dressing room were very professional and Billy was ready to make a difference. On the field, he could already feel the chill and sensation of playing on this Irish team.once the training had begun. Starting slow in training but finishing strong in the match the Irish man knew he had done his job. After a few days rest and the team was gathered to play a match against Shamrock Rovers and Billy had been called up on the squad. Sadly not starting the game but watching the first half from the bench Billy felt once on, he could make the difference. Starting the second half 0-0 and working and playing hard they ended the game 2-0 with Billy dominating the left wing. Coming off and feeling happy Billy knew he had fulfilled his objectives of doing well. Saying goodbye he returned to his home country Spain back to the Intersoccer Academy of Madrid.

After two years of hard work at A.C. Intersoccer Madrid results begin to arrive

¡Congratulations!
