(Note from the Club’s Board of Directors) We are back on National Third Division! After twenty years we return to the Third Division, where our club was a landmark during the eighties and early nineties.
Yesterday the players led by David Hernandez, with the presence of the General Director of Sports of the Madrid Community -Pablo Salazar- and City Councillor for Sports -Fernando Martinez-, left a memorable morning of football and emotions in Valdelasfuentes Sports City.
With this dream come true, the Alcobendas Levitt Football Club sigs certainly the best season in its history, begining on June 9, 1970. The Senior Team’s promotion to Third National, the Jouth Team’s promotion to National Honor Division and the “Luis Aragonés Memorial Tournament” U16 Champions put our club at the forefront of Madrid’s top-level football.
At such a happy time, our deep gratitude and tribute to three who left us during this year: Vicente Robles, Paco Gibaja and Pedro Garcia Abadilla and to many others in silence and privacy, live in the memories of our green heart.
Filled with gratitude, we also remember all those who forming this green family, headed by our official sponsor -Levitt Bosch Aymerich-, sports organization by International Football Academy of Madrid -InterSoccer Madrid- and City Council you have made it possible to get there as the slogan says “from the base can also be” -June 2005- until this very comforting reality.
